Traffic in both directions stopped for about 2 minutes while the geese plodded across the road. It was great! It shook me out of my silly, rushed, gotta-get-to-work state of mind and gave me some needed perspective (at least for a little while!) I'm reminded of "Make Way for Ducklings," the great children's book set in Boston.
