So I didn’t have time to put together a list of election night parties, but luckily O-Scene did. Head over there to check out the myriad of parties happening in Oakland tonight.
And if you haven’t already, go out and vote! Forgot where your polling place is? Use this handy Google tool. Can’t figure out how to vote on some of the propositions or local measures? Check out my endorsement blog post.
After you vote, call, text, email or otherwise harass everyone you know to vote. It’s so important! I’ll be out doing GOTV work in Oakland throughout the day for Rebecca Kaplan and No on 8. If you get the urge to make some phone calls or knock on some doors (it’s super easy and fun), just head down to 1915 Broadway and they’ll put you to work.
Tonight I’ll be partying at the Marriott with Kaplan’s volunteers and the rest of the United Democratic Campaign’s crew. I can’t wait to celebrate tonight – it’s been a long campaign season!
