The Tribune Tower

24 Feb

I walk by the Tribune Tower every day, and often several times a day. So I get to see it in the morning, at dusk, and at night from many different angles. Recently, I decided to start photographing its many looks, and as I did, I soon saw that this iconic building takes on so many different personalities, depending on how you look at it. Please excuse the quality of the iPhone photos, and I hope you enjoy:

    A little trivia:

In the late 1920’s Harry Houdini hung from the clock in a straightjacket and performed one of his trademark escapes.

I so miss our view of the Tribune Tower from home. Now someone else has the view in the new building across the street. Thanks for the memories, Becks!
